Bev is Chief Executive of The Outset Foundation and YTKO Group. She is a serial entrepreneur, mentor, angel investor and one of the UK’s leading authorities on female entrepreneurship, and has spent more than 30 years building successful businesses – and sharing her expertise to create and grow others. The YTKO Group offers a range of programmes and services for economic development and business support, working across both the public and private sector.

Two of the programmes spearheaded by Bev – namely Enterprising Women, the largest community devoted to growing female entrepreneurship in the country, and Outset, an award-winning enterprise support service that helps disadvantaged individuals create sustainable business – have supported nearly 20,000 people to date. Over the years, Bev has been the recipient of many awards, including most recently, a CBE for Services to Enterprise in the Queen’s 2014 New Years Honour roll.
